The Roma people are residing in Greece for many centuries. Having particular habits and unique characteristics they continue to this day to be a distinctive population group, with most of them living in the margins of Greek society (even the European society, with very few exceptions).

Despite the many efforts from several institutions, their integration into Greek society is very low.

The Evangelical Church of Greece, understanding the specific needs of this group, for many years now, puts great effort to aid them in their everyday lives. A life that is hard and not at all romantic for those who experience it.

The Greek Evangelical Church of Larissa serves several Roma camps around Larissa, providing them with things they need including clothes and food, and regularly doing children’s programs (songs, crafts, Christian stories, snacks, etc).
